Day 1
Arrive Nairobi, Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi, a microcosm of the African continent and the capital of Kenya. It serves as your gateway to a dramatic procession of natural spectacles here and in Tanzania, two of the most thrilling destinations in the world.
Day 2 - 3
Amboseli National ParkĀ
Drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and enjoy game drives across savanna, wetlands, and open plains rich with wildlife. Spot elephants up close from a small safari vehicle, along with giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and more, before returning to camp for lunch, an afternoon game drive, and a welcome dinner.
Day 4 - 5
Tarangire National Park
After crossing into Tanzania and stopping for lunch in Arusha, fly to Tarangire National Park and settle into your luxurious lodge set among baobab-lined savannas. Explore this wildlife-rich park on morning and afternoon game drives along the Tarangire River, spotting large elephant herds, zebra, impala, and elusive leopards, before enjoying a chef-led cooking demonstration featuring local dishes such as ugali, makande, and kachumbari.
Day 6 - 7
Ngorongoro CraterĀ
Discover everyday life in Tanzania with a visit to a local village and market before heading to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for lunch. Choose a Design Your Day experience, such as walking with a Maasai healer, cycling through village back roads, or enjoying a traditional high tea at Gibbās Farm, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to explore its vast, wildlife-filled plains, where you may spot all of the Big Five in one unforgettable day, ending with a picnic lunch inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 8 - 10
Serengeti National ParkĀ
Fly to Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness famous for the Great Migration and incredible wildlife. Spend the next three days exploring its golden plains on twice-daily game drives with expert guides, spotting lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, and more, with the option of a hot air balloon safari (additional cost), before relaxing each evening at your lodge.
Day 11 - 13
Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Fly to the Maasai Mara, Kenyaās premier wildlife destination, home to 95 animal species, 450 bird species, and the countryās largest lion population. Stay at a lodge along the Mara River and enjoy afternoon game drives spotting hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, and other wildlife, ending the day with a sundowner and dinner. Depart Nairobi, Kenya
