Itinerary | Day to day
Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for your safari adventure.
Day 2
Arusha National Park – Game Drive & Walking Safari
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for a scenic game drive, where you may spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and flamingos. Later, enjoy a guided walking safari, a safe and fun learning experience for the whole family. Lunch will be served inside the park before returning to your lodge.
Day 3
Tarangire National Park – Full Game Drive
In the morning, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive until afternoon, followed by a picnic lunch at a designated site. Continue with more wildlife viewing until evening before driving to your camp.
Day 4
Tarangire – Northern Serengeti (En-Route Game Drive)
After an early breakfast, drive toward Northern Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy wildlife sightings along the way as you head to your camp. After a short rest, continue with an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti.
Day 5
Northern Serengeti – Wildebeest Migration (Mara River)
Spend the entire day in Northern Serengeti, one of the best places to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. You may see thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River, facing strong currents and crocodiles (seasonal). Enjoy lunch inside the park and continue game viewing until evening.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater floor for a game drive, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before heading to your lodge.
Day 7
Day 7: Cultural Experience – Hadza Tribe & Mto wa Mbu
This day focuses on culture and learning. Visit the Hadza tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa, and learn about their traditional way of life. After lunch, continue to Mto wa Mbu village to enjoy Swahili cuisine, local drinks, visit the market, and learn about local traditions. In the evening, return to Arusha.
Day 8
Fly to Zanzibar – Beach Relaxation
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your beach resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the ocean.
Day 9 - 10
Zanzibar Beach & Family Activities
Enjoy two full days in Zanzibar, with optional family-friendly activities such as:
Dolphin tour
Horse riding along the beach
Sunset dhow (sundowner) cruise
Snorkeling or diving
Beach relaxation and swimming
These days are flexible, allowing families to enjoy Zanzibar at a relaxed pace.
Day 111
Fly by light aircraft to Kilimanjaro Airport. Here you will connect with your onward flight home.
