6 Days Marangu Route

The 6 Days Marangu Route, famously known as the ā€œCoca-Cola Route,ā€ is one of the most classic and well-established trails to reach Mount Kilimanjaro’s Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Unlike other routes, it offers comfortable hut accommodations, making it a perfect choice for trekkers who prefer a warm bed over a tent after a long day of hiking.

This route takes you through diverse landscapes, starting from lush rainforests, passing through moorlands, and finally reaching the alpine desert before conquering Africa’s highest peak. It is ideal for those seeking a shorter, scenic, and moderately challenging climb with steady acclimatization.

Why Choose the Marangu Route?

Stay in shared huts with beds and mattresses, providing a unique and comfortable experience on the mountain.

The gradual ascent allows for easier acclimatization, making it suitable for first-time climbers.

Experience rainforest trails, alpine desert zones, and breathtaking summit views.

A great option for travelers with limited time who still want to experience the magic of Kilimanjaro.
